People keep telling me don't buy all that stuff for your baby cause I didn't have a baby shower yet…

I totally understand. that's what they tell me but I still buy it anyways....

If you get stuff you already bought you can always exchange it for something you need/want

I took care of all the big stuff but told myself to hold off on the rest of stuff the little things until I have my baby shower . After the shower I am going to pick up the last few needed items :)

I don't like putting all my eggs in one basket. If I get a bunch of stuff at my shower, great, but if I don't, I'd be highly upset that I wanted for others.

@harata87, I'm getting all her big stuff but also just pick up cute lil outfits if I see them that's all but I can't help it this my first baby lol

@queeneden, right it's so hard tho I got to start getting her right feel like I'm not doing a lot lol but she got a lot of clothes

I made sure my baby has everything she needs for at least the first few weeks especially diapers and wipes and clothes. Anything else will be a bonus, but there is no way I could wait and see what would happen at my baby shower.
