o I really wish my mother would stop telling me the "when you were a month old I gave you cereal and u slept thru the night" story. I dont care. I'm not giving my baby cereal. not now and maybe not never. I'll wake up to feed her thru the night IDC

I read so much about how cereal is not nutritious! Formula and breast milk is all a baby need the first 6 months of life up to a year even!

@ginag918, I wouldn't say it's lazy parenting in EVERY case...if it's just because you want them to sttn they id consider it lazy but when you have a baby who eats and eats (pumped breastmilk) until she pukes then wants more ...like the only thing she wants to do is eat then adding cereal under doctors orders it is not being lazy it's satisfying your baby's hunger (my daughter was one of those babies-she would literally eat 6 oz as a newborn puke then want to eat some more) if she wasn't sleeping or eating she was screaming in hunger

Everybody wants to give somebody's newborn cereal smh. If they are breastfed they can go a whole year without touching solids they say for breastfed babies solids are just for fun and to introduce them to diff flavors n textures so that when you really begin to feed solids they will accept them smh. Lazy parenting is giving cereal to put baby in mini coma lol
