Мама сына-младенца

This is an amazing article. I usually get frustrated when baby doesn't sleep at night or is fussing for nothing but this put so much sense into me! Thanks mommas! ☺️

@eskawho, that makes total sense. After a while they start to understand a sleep pattern. Day and night. And, their feeding times. But at first, when they are only weeks old, deep sleep is a little scary.

@jennatess, The other thing I think a lot of new parents don't realize is when babies wake often it actually lowers their chance of SIDS.

my daughter's pediatrician told me when she was a newborn that I need to wake her at least every 3 to 4 hours to feed if she didn't wake up. now at 3 and a half months she now sleeps 6 to 8 hours a night before waking.

@klachappelle, I agree! I see people posting about being so happy their three week old slept 9 hours throughout the night, and it makes me worry for the child. They need to be waking up here and there.(for the most part.)

Yes! I see Moms getting so frustrated that there baby isn't sleeping through the night and they don't understand why. They were just carried by you for 9 months then they were quite roughly born into this strange cold world and expected to be perfect eating and sleeping machines. Sorry Mommas, it doesn't work that way! It takes time, and many sleepless nights!
