can you have contraction and your water not brake?

Yea i had contractions without my water breaking and she sure came

cause I think I'm having contractions but I'm not sure this is my first baby.

Yep! I had contractions for over 24 hours and they had to break my water.

I was wondering the same thing @jessicac6 @saniaha but I'm not trying to freak out anyone and say they are contractions. everyone is pretty much waiting for my water to break but it doesn't work like that for everyone which y'all just confirmed. I have tightening and a LOT of pressure so I don't even know what to call them but they are irregular so that can't be it, right??

Yes, I actually was in full blown labor for 8 hrs before the doctor had to break my water because it wasn't going too on its own

@ce5ce, I be experiencing the same thing all the time especially since I'm pass my due date. I wonder what that really means lol.

@chantebrandon, like seriously, I wonder too. a small part of me is wondering if that's all labor pains will be like but I know, wishful thinking. my public bone is just sooo sore... maybe it means I'm thinning out more🙏🙏🙏
