??????October 2018 babies?????? Congratulations to everyone who have received their bfp!
Would you rather your baby have a common name or an unusual name? 🤔

my doula was the main reason why I had my son without an epidural & my midwife was amazing I had the same midwife for both my second & first & then she moved but was great she actually cared & gave me good advice she didn't get to deliver me though

It was really relaxing....I'm a FTM so I can't compare it to anything else. I didn't have any meds at all. I was very calm & it was more of hands on experience for my bf & I. We pretty much gave birth our self & they stood by & watch. I did at the hospital, I was lucky enough to find a hospital that did it. If I have another child I'll do it the same way. My son came our so calm & alert it was breathe taking @firstbaby_girl

that sounds good. I had my main ob but she wasn't on call when I delivered. I mean the ob that did deliver me was great cause I met him way before that. but having someone there with you the whole time like that sounds like it would be better than 10 different nurses and what not. did you do yours at a hospital? @kainesmommy

yeah I had all three of my boys at the same hospital, my doula helped me keep relaxed tho & we had these classes that we went to it was amazing they showed us breathing exercises & other things but at the end of ever class I remember they used to massage us lol there was several different girls & older ladies in the class I was 16 at the time

I had a natural birth at a hospital with a doula :) Next time I want a midwife, home water birth. Or at the very least a midwife, midwife center home birth. I wasn't quite brave enough to commit to natural at the beginning of my pregnancy, but by the end if I could have switched I would have. Now I'm positive in what I want because I know what my body can do :)

yes that would be such a unique and beautiful experience. I seen pictures on my ig the other day and it seemed so..like you can create a great connection to your body and baby @babygirl10-11

@babygirl10-11, I did delayed cord clamping and hour of skin to skin and I believe both really helped me and my girl :)
