don't get too bummed, I had a period the first month I was pregnant too

vitex is great it actually starts ur period but it also regulates pregnacy hormones like progesterone & estrogen

but u will ovulate , therfore giving u a greater chance 2 weeks after ur period,

I use evening primrose I would definitely look into what vitex before you take it if your regular already it could fuck with your hormones and cause more issues then it helps. there is a book in amazon that's extremely helpful. let me go look at the name again and I'll comment the name in a minute
