i get those once in a while. boils. are you biabetic? bcuz its a sign of it or pre diabetes

the top is soft but under the skin is hard. I have a slight temp I guess I'm just waiting for it to pop I guess

Oh ok I couldn't tell the actual size. It's probably a boil then. You can lance it and drain it but you gota have a tough stomach for that! 😁

if it's kind of firm then it's probably a boil.

@babyeitrem, if the skin tag was removed then it could have possibly not been removed fully and is now infected. As long as you're not running a fever, then I would make sure to keep it clean and use triple antibiotic ointment on it.

maybe a boil I got those a lot while pregnant from my thighs rubbing together try apple cider vinegar

Definitely an ingrown hair. If left unattended it can get much larger than the size of a quarter. -- use warm compression (think warm wash cloth.) for like 10-15 straight, then take a clean needle and open it. There will probably be a long hair raveled up insides - make sure it ALL gets removed.
