I don't know who if anyone here has noticed the large age gap between my two older boys and this little man we are expecting in October but I need to vent.. yes I have two teenage boys that are 17 and 14 years old. No I was not expecting to ever have any more children. When doctors tell you there is no way for you to conceive and your youngest is 14 you tend to believe your baby days are in fact over. Yes I was extremely shocked to find out there would be another baby. No I was not disappointed to find out it's another boy. A miracle is a miracle. Would I have liked a daughter of my own? Of course! Though not once have I felt cheated or slighted by knowing this is a boy. The father has two daughters, the youngest is 23. This is his chance at having a son, one who will proudly carry on his daddy's name. I have been blessed by giving him this baby boy. By no means would I change a thing. I am totally great with having a third son. If I have to explain one more time how or why I am thrilled with having another boy I'm liable to not be so nice...so many people have said it's a shame it's not a girl. What is really a shame is that people can't understand how much of a blessing this baby is, boy or girl, we have proven that doctors aren't always right and miracles do happen!

No need to explain to anyone! Healthy baby boy or girl is all that matters! A blessing is a blessing! Congrats on boy number 3!!

Thank you @maribelle and @iloveni0820 ! I'm very happy and so is the daddy :) the worst ones are actually friends and family though. Everyone is like I bet you were hoping for a girl...no actually I was hoping for a healthy baby regardless and so far he is growing on target which with all my medical issues is yet another miracle. I just got irritated earlier when another friend just this morning made the comment it was a shame it's another boy. Some people just don't get it.
Well first congrats ! second who cares both the father of the baby and you are happy you're having a boy. so what they think doesn't matter. a baby is a blessing no matter the sex even if you have 10 boys and the 11th is a boy also. enjoy the little baby boy !
Don't worry about what people that you don't even know think. To make you feel better look my older child is 23 and I have 19, 17, 12 and I'm pregnant again and we are so excited specially my kids. Nobody over here or there are going to pay your baby stuff or do babysitting for you or nothing so Girl whatever the world say its not they're business. No matter what you do in this life will make ppl happy, what really matter is if your happy! Congratulations!!!
