@mdomke22, I'm glad to hear that you and your baby girl is ok! I agree with @bentleyandmommy, I would leave over night if I could in fear that he would come home in a rage for sending him to jail. I also was brutally abused by my father when I was small but I couldn't imagine it coming from my children's father. You two deserve much better and I hope this chapter ends soon for you.

your best bet is to pack up and leave tonight. they may only keep him over night and he will most likely come back and try to start again. hope you and your baby girl are alright. no one should have to go through that. it's very hard.. I went through it for 13 1/2 years with my father.
