your doing what's best for your child which is your business.. I have a 15 and a 7 year old so that know I don't play. and I used to be a child care provider where I know that everybody is considered mandated reporters, where you think your doing the right thing someone else can look at it differently and open up a can of of unnecessary worms for you
@mopace, if my daughter started throwing a tantrum in wal mart I'm not gonna sit there and let her continue her behavior that's a good way for her to learn that that behavior is tolerated when it's not. I'm not saying I'm gonna full on cock back my arm and swat the crap out of her butt but hard enough that she feels it and recognizes that I will not tolerate bad behavior like that in a store. In a store we are to act civilized and be polite and throwing a tantrum is not polite
I will spank my son , I believe it is needed sometimes after warnings and chances but now that he is 6 I hardly ever have to anymore !
How old is he? I have a 11 month old that just recently started acting up.. Am I wrong to be upset? Last night I was running a fever, weak, tired, sore, my left boob feels like it got used as a punching bag. I asked my husband to call out of work today to help me with the kid so I could get some rest. He went to work. I texted him this morning. Part of me thinks I mean. Where are you on the spanking debate? It is a parent's choice, some kids are so strong willed they don't respond to anything but a whack on the tush, but I have seen many adults take it too far as well.
