Usually, for engagement or maternity, a good/experienced photographer is around $300. You can also bundle maternity and newborn photos together for a better deal in the long run. It really depends on what you want to spend. (: When I lived down in Huntington Beach I had two girls I worked with. I'll find their links for you in a second 💗

check them out on Facebook to see if you like their work. The most affordable is Chelsea Smith Photography, and my favorite is PureSugar Photography by Nicole Smith. Her work is fabulous! I'm not sure of their prices (because they are friends, I got a different price I think.) But you can always shoot them an email/message and they can work with you and let you know of their fees. (:

Check out the ones I just did! (I posted some in my photo album.) But my photographer is up in Sacramento. I bet Nicole Williams (idk why I said 'Smith'. My bad! Haha. I just woke up!) would be down to do a water shoot!

Actually in the water. The photographer waded in to her knees, and then we also did some with me deeper, and she was on a dock shooting.
