I'm a first time mommy and my husband and I have been going back a forth on whether or not to get a baby swing. I think it'll be great, I've seen moms use them all the time. His theory is that they're pricy and the baby is not going to be in it very long. What are your thoughts? How long does a baby usually use the swing and was it useful?
I used my swing with Abby for about 3 months and it was a LIFE SAVER!!! I now have a full sized one and a portable one for this baby, both used and I plan to use both as much as possible
find a used one...I found someone selling a convertible crib on the app offerup app and its the heavy cherry wood for 180. Nothing wrong with used stuff.
my baby is 8 months and she is extra long and weighs 23 pounds but it still swings lol I just have to use the seat belt otherwise she will fall out I would definitely get one they come in handy trust me ..... try joining your local baby selling site on fb ... I always see nice cheap ones
I love that app too, glad you found something already!! There's everything in there haha
@ckatx3, wow! I just downloaded the app and it's awesome. Found one I really liked!
We used our swing a TON for 3 months before she got too long for it BUT she was also born at 21 1/2 inches long & is in the 90th percentile for height...we purchased ours on Craigslist for $30 it was a fisher price cradle and swing with 2 melodies and several speeds after she was done with it I sold it for $40
it's awesome and u don't have to buy it new I got mine in a garage sale just wash it and disenfect it. u can also try Craigslist or thrift store I got my swing and bassinet for 50 bucks both and they where in store for 450 dollars so u never know what u can find
my swing was a life saver. my babies used it for about 4 months. you can always keep for the next baby or sell.

My August baby decided she wanted to be a May baby like her big sister. Madison Noelle was born on Tuesday, May 24 at 3:50pm, weighing 2lbs, 13oz and 14". She was born at 27 weeks and has a long road ahead of her. Every day she has been getting stronger and amazing everyone. Please keep us in your prayers, my family and I have a long road ahead of us. Congratulations to everyone and I wish you all wonderful pregnancies and deliveries! ??❤️
My MIL is planning on staying in the hospital the entire time I’m in labor. I don’t want that. Any tips on how to deal with this? Why can’t my MIL understand that labor is private for us😩 And when the baby is here she’s never going to leave us or the baby alone. She’s really testing my patience😡
My water broke this morning around 3 something. I got up to pee two different times and it started running down my leg. How long until I go into labor?

I had such a fun time abroad but I'm SO ready to be home and snuggle with my babies!!! ?? 10 days is really too long but I had loads of fun in Germany and London. Next time I go back, I'm toting everyone along with me. Way too long without munchkin kisses.
I hate not being able to lean forward... He's going to be a long baby! He's down in my pelvis and in my lungs at the same time...
I bought used. I still spent about 80$ on it BUT it's a graco glider that pulls off into a bouncer which I thought was absolutely amazing
