how many ultra sounds do you suppose to have ....the dr told me i need another one at the end of my pregnancy to double make sure everything ok somwthing called amnioctisies to check the amnioctic fluid ???? is this check up normal at 36 wks ?
Amniocentesis is for high risk pregnancy. It is not part of a routine pregnancy exam. Typically done on women with a high risk of down-syndrome or other chromosome risks. They do however do an ultrasound later in pregnancy to make sure that you still have enough fluid.
I had my last one at 37 weeks. .. it's pretty routine
I had 4... 1 to verify 1 for anatomy/gender 1 to check for a cleft pallet & any other physical deformities (because she wouldn't cooperate during the anatomy scan- would only show her privates but not her face😂) 1 to verify she was growing properly (my belly measured a week behind what she was measuring) and 1 to check my amniotic fluids
amniocentesis is when they stick a needle into your belly, through the uterus and pull out amniotic fluid. that has dangers of miscarriage, still birth, rupture of the sac or uterus. I would get a second opinion....
my last one was at 18 weeks and I don't get anymore
So far I had two and I'm 25 weeks
depends on your insurance. i only got 2 one to verify and the anatomy/gender
Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
IUI Monday!!
So today I went in for my routine bloodwork and ultrasound, and found out that I have three follicles at 17mm! Plus another two at 15mm. When leaving the clinic my FS said to take another dose of gonal-f and come back tomorrow to check to see how big they got and that we would do the iui on Wednesday. Well, after getting home, taking my gonal-f and going out to shovel snow (lol) I get a call saying that I am SURGING!!! I haven't ovulated on my own, or even come close to it in years...

Before you have your first child, you have these grand ideas of what it will be like. There’s more slee...
