"Have I tried to hide my sins like other people do, concealing my guilt in my heart?" (NLT) ( Job 31:33 )

When we are confronted with our sins, it's natural to want to hide it. Sometimes, we even go so far as to hide them with lies. However, trying to deceive others of our sins is futile, it tends to come out anyways. We cannot hide from God what is in our hearts. Recognizing our sins is the first step on a path of being free from carrying the weight of hiding our sin. Let's free ourselves from deception and acknowledge our sins.

Locking your doors We are having a discussion on one of my birth boards from my older kids about locking doors and security alarms. There are many of us (me included) who do not lock our doors at home (I actually don't even have a deadbolt on my house and we don't lock it when we leave either), and others who think that's totally weird. As we laid our precious baby boy down to sleep, our hearts ached. We still have questions and don't understand why this happened to our sweet innocent baby boy. What we do know is one thing. We are LOVED! God has surrounded us with gentle hands of comfort to help us get through such a hard time in our lives. We couldn't be anymore grateful for the friends and family we have. Baby Dakota is safe and sound in the arms of our Heavenly Father. He had a purpose so great that we can't even begin wrap our heads around it. My husband and I are just so thankful for the love and support. 8.4.15 💙
