I just called my Dr and spoke with a nurse because I am having pain where my lady parts are when I move. like something is wrong with my muscle . she told me to take ibuprofen but I was told to only take Tylenol. I don't know what to do I don't want to hurt my baby tho.
Ibuprofen makes your blood thinner so you can imagine why it would be bad for baby. There are other reasons but I remember specifically that one and that could be ligaments. I've had lots of pain in that area specially around your time. Baby is pushing on your muscles
um I went to the hospital and they told me you can't take ANYTHING but ibuprofen. They really stressed that to me. But you can't take any pain relievers your last 3 months of pregnancy. Because you might have contractions and not know it!
I think I am going to just continue to take the Tylenol and if it doesn't help I guess I will call back. because I mean the pain isn't that bad it just concerns me.

It's aspirin that you need to stay away from during pregnancy.

NSAIDS (like ibuprofen, aspirin, and Aleve) are NOT safe during pregnancy. I'm really surprised a nurse advised for you to take some.

Just Tylenol! Ibuprofen is blood thinning so it wouldn't be a good idea. Try acetaminophen along with stretching... stretching helps me a lot!
