Don't pump before trying to feed. I finally pumped 3oz and then tried to feed Jasper... Yeeeeeaaaaaahhhhhhh.... He wouldn't latch and cried for a good 15 minutes before I could do anything about it. Goodbye 3oz of liquid gold that could have been used to feed while I was sleeping.

Pump 35-45 minutes after you frost morning feed.

Or pump while your feeding. I know when I do that I get double the milk.

It's difficult to pump while feeding for me. I have to massage my boobies to get enough out. Plus my son is only 4 days old. He needs a bit of direction while feeding.
