My Labor Story!
I had an appointment before my due date. The nurse hooked me up to a machine so she can watch the babies heart beat for an hour or so. She noticed the babies heart beat was low & stayed low. So, they told me to theyre going to induce me. I had to go to the the triage/wip. I was there for 15 hours! Every pregnant person that came after me went into labor & delivery & they kept telling me that I was next when I wasnt 😐 I finally went into L&D & they gave me oxytocin to get my contractions going & induce me. I slept through majority of the contractions. I was in L&D literally for 3 days. An hour or 2 before I delivered I wanted the epidural but the epidural felt like it wasnt working cause the contractions were getting worse so she checked me & I was 5 cm. 2 minutes later my water broke so she checks me & says im ready to deliver. They were taking forever to get everything ready! Every contraction I had, it felt like my princess was pushing herself out. By the time the doctor came she was almost head out. I pushed 3 or 4 times in 2 or 3 minutes & she was out. ☺️ The worst part about it was the epidural wore off when I was pushing & the pain was ridiculous. When I was pushing her out, I ripped but I didnt feel myself rip. She was worth it all. 💕💖
