My water broke about 10:30 last night. I put on a pad and monitored the leaking for an hour and about 12 I went to the hospital. I was admitted an hour later and they put my IV in and and took blood all that good stuff lol. By this I was having some mild contractions. Around 4 they started my pitocin and the contractions got really strong and were coming about 2 mins apart I asked for pain meds and the nurse put something in my IV that made me woozy it worked for about 45 mins then the contractions became unbearable. I asked for an epidural I got it about 5:30 but I was still only 1 1/2 cm so my dr made fun of me lol an hour later I was sleep lol I woke up about 11:30 bc my epidural was wearing off I was feeling a lot of pressure from the contractions I. fought through it until I felt like I was being ripped apart and I was BEGGING for another dose before they gave it to me the nurse checked me and I was 7cms and the contractions were BRUTAL lol I got another dose of the epidural and the nurse turned me on my side and went to check on another patient 5 mins later I told my mom and bf go get the nurse bc I had to to push and they kept telling me no bc I was only 7 and I was screaming GO GET THE NURSE HE'S COMING NOW! she came back checked BAM 10cms lol I literally went from 7 to 10 in 5 mins and I felt every bit of it. They started me pushing my dr came in and I pushed for 30 mins and I watched it in a mirror the whole time it was beautiful the after his head and shoulders came out I got to pull him out myself 😍 Luckily for me by the third push the epidural kicked back in and I didn't feel the last 15 mins of pushing lol. My baby came out hungry and looking for a boob lol

I did itttttt!!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾😩 Worstttttt painnnn everrrr omg! I got an epidural but it didn’t work for me🤷🏽 ♀ so I It all natural!! I m so proud of myself. I was screaming soooo loud but the nurses were awesome and they were so encouraging. While I was contracting, I told my husband no more kids...and he recorded it for evidence 😒 lol but after holding my sweet baby boy. I definitely changed me mind. Got to the hospital at 4 am to start my pitocin, well.. I was put on the drip at 430 am , and was 4cm dilated and 80 percent effaced, an hour later. The nurse came in to check me, hours later, and I was at 6 cm. I got the epidural at 6cm.. But it didn't work for me, no more than 20 minutes later, I couldn't take the pain, I was screaming and crying.. And felt everything.. most terrible pain ever, I called for my nurse to come in and she checked me again, said I was ready to deliver, babys head was there. About 30 minutes of pushing, and 8 stitches later, 10:40 a.m. I gave birth to the most beautiful, little girl in the world, weighing 5 pounds and 8 ounces, 18 inches long! Welcome to the world Scarlette Jayde, youre so perfect.. and were so blessed to be your parents!! Even though I felt everything, and the epidural didn't work for me, I have to say the pain I felt was so worth it!!!

Checked in at 4am february 1st.. started my pitocin drip at 5. I was 3cm dilated when i checked in. Things were progressing pretty slowly until my doctor broke my water at 7 am. I got my epidural done when i was 7 cm dilated, my nurse came in to check me and said baby was in plus 1 station. From there it went rather quickly, once my cervix was complete, she did practice pushes with me, i did 3 practice pushes with a few contractions and she said not to practice push anymore because baby was crowning already. She went and got my doctor, 2 real pushes later and baby was out ! I have 2 tears, 6 stitches, and ones a 2nd degree. We got released the next day ! So glad to be home but its very stressful that my daughter isnt adjusting well. Jeremiah wayne havis, born at 10:56 a.m. february 1st, weighing 6 pounds 1 ounce at birth, 19 1/2 inches long. When we checked out he was 5 pounds 14 ounces. Born at 38 weeks 6 days!

Sorry for the wait everyone things got crazy! Here's my birth story; UPDATED: Due Oct. 1st born 38w and 4d, it's a boy! 9/20 went for a 45min walk in the morning, had bloody show once I got home, called my LC/doula, she helped me do exercises, and I rested the rest of the day. 11:36pm water broke. Got to hospital around 12:30am 9/21. I was not in labor yet got checked out and was 3cm. Got admitted and had to get a least 4 hours of antibiotics before getting Pitocin since I was GBS positive. Once Pitocin was started I hadn't changed from a 3, they upped the dose and I still hadn't changed. They upped it again and I was a 5, it got to the point where I was in pain and pushing with each contraction even though I wasn't fully dilated. I got epidural and after epidural I got checked and was 8cm so they lowered the Pitocin cause my contractions were too frequent. I got on one side to thin my cervix on that side but after a few mins 2 nurses ran in cause my baby's heart rate dropped because I had stopped breathing, they put me on oxygen and told me to roll to the other side. I don't remember this part but I told my mom I couldn't breathe and the nurses said it was because I stopped breathing. Eventually about 8 more nurses and doctors came in checked me and said I was complete and telling me I had to get on all fours and push him out asap cause he stopped breathing since his cord was wrapped around his neck and with each contraction it squeezed it tighter, then they changed their minds and said I needed an emergency c-section. My mom freaked out and my hubby freaked out, cried, and even passed out. I was the only calm one. I got a shot to stop my contractions but it didn't work so I got rolled into the operating room where there were about 20 nurses and doctors, wires everywhere still on oxygen. Luckily I was able to push him out vaginally in the O.R. with the help of a vacuum instead of a c-section. Not sure how long I pushed, wasn't long at all and my labor was very short about 6 hours. Baby J came out blue but me and baby are fine and healthy, no problems. JUSTICE ELIAS PRINCE WATES born 9/21/16 at 2:45pm. 6lbs 15oz and 19.5in long. 😍😍😍

Sapphire was born at 8:03pm. Started cervidil last night at about 10pm. It increased my contractions and by this morning I went from 1cm and 75% effaced to 4cm and 90% effaced. So we decided to hold off on anything and monitor me and see what my body did. 2 1/2 hrs they checked me and I went to 6cm and 100% effaced. They broke my water and by around 7:30 was ready to push. I pushed for 20 mins and she came into the world crying with her eyes wide open. 5lbs 11oz 19inches long. No pain meds and a 1st degree tear. Got my natural birth after all ♡
