I NEVER DID A LABOR STORY BUT HERE IT IS : at 4am Feb 8th woke up to the feeling of wetness in my lower area. For a second i thought I peed myself in my sleep lol. I felt more coming out so I tried waking up my bf. Took a while but finally he woke up yelling "Your water broke!". I got out of bed. Went to the toilet and heard something drop like a splash. I kinda knew it was my mucus plug. Took a shower. Got ready and waited til about 8 am to go to the doctor. They checked to see if it was my water that broke and it was but I was at 1cm. They admitted me and nothing happened until the next day around 11 am they started me on pitocin since I wasn't dilating. Around 12 pm I was at 7cm. Contractions hurt big time by then! Took another hour for me dilate to 10cm. By then I was so ready to push the doctor was barley called to come back to the hospital from the clinic which is in another building. As the doctor came in I was about to push when everyone was yelling telling me not to. I was so mad it felt like the doctor was taking forever! I pushed for about 20 minutes and i seriously couldn't concentrate with all the people telling me what to do. It was like they were yelling at me so i yelled at them lmao Good thing I didn't tear as much. Just a little that I didn't need stitches and on February 9 @ 1:58 pm I had my beautiful daughter Ashlynn Naomi Tate she was 8 pounds 5 ounces and was 20 inches long.
me too it was so great my delivery actually flew by abd to my surpassed my contractions weren't bad at all I could barely feel them and I went drug free
I wish I can go back to that day. even though it was a lot of pain :) @babyethansmommy
Lol my nurses and doctors were sitting there showing off cakes they made while I was pushing (I pushed 3 hours though) apparently they got bored
I forgot about it. But it was an experience. I had some pain relief but it was through IV and didn't really work as good. i kept telling myself to say no to the epidural.
Hahaha oh man the things we go through when they say that you'll forget about the pain, whoever said that..lied! I don't think I'll ever forget about it , it was definitely an experience giving birth . did you have a natural birth @shellyds
I told them straight up. "Shut up! I'm trying to concentrate on my breathing" and they were telling me to breath also. @sgomez0606
lol I held my tongue and didn't yell at them but I sure as hell felt like telling them all to stfu especially when they kept telling me to breathe ..I was thinking how the hell am I supposed to breathe when I feel like my back was being snapped into two -___- @shellyds
I had my daughter on February 9th lol I thought I would have her on the 8th though @kayla02
Yes! I yelled at them to stop talking haha. it was funny though because the nurses were making jokes too @sgomez0606
