Anyone have any tips on introducing baby to using spoons? I talked to her doctor today and he wants me to start baby food in a week. He told me to practice giving her rice on a spoon until then, but she's really struggling! Sometimes she does good, other times it all just runs back out of her mouth, any suggestions?

When she pushes it out just scoop it back into her mouth with the spoon eventually she'll get that it's supposed to stay in not be pushed out...also try to get a big open mouth when you feed her I always get my daughter to smile and she seems to keep more food in her mouth when she opens it bigger
