I had an enema and still ended up pooping while pushing. I didn't know until after when my husband told me. the nurse didn't say anything.

Yea for all I know I might poop myself with this one lol but its a very natural thing don't worry about it :)

I was induced and didn't have an enema either lol but I kept asking my mom and my bf if I pooped myself they said I didn't there was just a lot of blood

@brez419, it's a quick colon cleanse. it will make you poop everything out and when you are done there will be nothing left to come out, so you should be golden.

They didn't give me an enema but you can't eat when you get the meds so you won't poo.

@hippiebaby89, I think I might be induced, my doctor told me from the very beginning at 6 weeks because I have lupus and its a lot safer for me an the baby to not go full term but what is enema? Uv never heard of it

all mine were vaginal

@junebaby, did you have both vaginal or just your second? In not really worried abt it cuz I have no control on that lol an I'm sure I'm just ganna want to get the baby outta me

The nurses usually don't tell you, from what I heard. there's a lot going on when you are pushing. I'm a FTM too. I also heard your body automatically starts to clean itself out before you go into labor (diarrhea and vomitting). and usually if your going to be induced they give you an enema before starting you on pitocin.

you push with the same muscles so it happens a lot.

I did with my second. I didn't even know until my mom told me after. The nurses are really good about wiping you off real quick and continuing.

yea lol that's going to be torture I'm going to starve, they talk about the baby being hungry but I bet we will be hungrier

They told me I didn't, I kept asking and told them not to lie to me and everyone that was there told me I didn't.. And that's probably because I had been pooping for like 3 hours with every contraction before I got the epidural.

I don't think everyone does - you can get an enema prior so you aren't shitting everywhere.
