pat it dry and use alcohol

I totally left my sons alone just patted it dry after baths

@regelbaby, that's what I was told too. I just used a went towel to get the gunk out but I'm gonna leave it alone

My doc told me to leave it alone- don't put anything on it. It's open still so putting alcohol on it makes me cringe.. But I see doctors saying it's ok to use alcohol.

aw poor baby. just use soap and water and if it doesnt get better id call her pediatrician. it took my sons two weeks to clear up. i hope it clears up soon for her.

@may24th, they told me not to do anything to it. no its not blood and it's not really puss I'm gonna try soap and water if that doesn't work I'll use alcohol I've been so tempted to use alcohol on it

keep it clean. my dr said I could use alcohol to dry my sons belly button out cause it was bleeding
