who has had or has the mirena? what has your experience been like with it??

I got it a month ago and I'm still spotting but it's supposed to happen for like 3 months I guess?

uncomfortable putting in but did not even feel coming out.

Oh after a couple months having it I also started having very light periods I hardly noticed every 2 to 3 months. I couldn't be happier

Yes i just took it everyday it comes in a pack of 28...and no side effects for me.

I had it put in there was no problems at all no weight gain no problems with sex no pain or discomfort. it was the birth control I never had to think about. and 3 years later I wanted it taken put to try for a second baby found out I was pregnant 2 months later. I had the ideal expirance with it

how does that one work? do you just take it everyday or? @she.b.lo

did you have any side effects after you got it?? did it hurt ? @prego_again

I ended up using the pill its called trinessa omg it saved my life...

loved it and I'm getting it back as soon as I can! here in 5 weeks I'll gladly have it back

Mood swings that led my doctor to believe I was bipolar, weight gain that just wouldn't go away, memory loss, ruined most of my relationships because I couldn't stabilize my mood. It was the worse 4 years of my life and my children were just born. I can't remember most of their first years.

I hated it. heavy cramps and I was spotting for 7 months straight ..I also had the paraguard my body rejected both of them.

Oh good to know lol and I'm not very good with pills anyway I was on the pull once upon a time and I always forgot to take it I'm surprised I didn't get pregnant while on that pill lol @kjsimon

It was hell for me. The best day was the day I got it removed.

I was on the pill that I got my period every 3 months but I would not get that. bc I think that is how I got pregnant again :) due in august..

She said that my body can't handle any IUDS at all.. so I went back on the pill.. lol.

that's what my doctor told me today that it slows down your period might even stop it which is fine by me lol did it hurt when they put it in? or afterwards? ? @junebaby

I had it.. I got it in September of 11 and had it taken out of April of 12.. I hated it.. I got worse cramps in my life when I was on it. I never got my period on it.. my boyfriend didn't like it either Cuz he could feel the string that was hanging down.. also my body was rejecting it, so that is why I got it taken out.. when I went to the doctors she said it was about to fall out.. lol.
