It's your baby, you should raise him however you want. Every kid needs discipline, I baby sat two kids who's parents never spank them or knew how to say no to them or anything and they are really really bad they hit people and scream at them and to top it off the 9 month old one is worst he doesn't let anyone change his diaper cause he cries like if someone just hit him and his mom doesn't care she just gives him some chips to stop him from crying and doesn't say that's wrong or anything

I don't get why people think they can tell you how to raise or discipline your children you will do it however you end up doing it and if it doesn't work you learn but. People that have kids already think they know the best way and what to do and what not to do. Well every body is differ and what works for some might not for others. I can't stand when people tell me this is what you will do with your kid and you will should do this. I will raise my kids how I raise them.

I know ! my cousins are that way ! his family may not have been spanked but they are heavier drinkers. good kids. but one of them were heavy into drugs for years. no one in my family ever was. we experienced some. but never stuck with it @flower_princess

Because baby's need discipline way before they start acting up .. And people shouldn't tell you how to raise your kid Hun

I am going go try different ways to discipline him but if I have to I will spank. I see nothing wrong with it if you know the limits like you said.

My husband is the same way. He's very calm, and against spanking. I, however, refuse to agree. Sometimes a pop on the butt is what they need!

an open hand on the bottom is nothing. if your feel your child deserves a spanking then give him one..he's YOUR child. if you don't correct misbehaving in the beginning you'll have trouble farther down the road. good luck to you momma hope everything goes well!
