So question.. Alauras 10 weeks now.. is it bad she can't hold her up for more than a few seconds or roll over? She hasn't been able to tolerate tummy time very well because it hurts her and makes her throw up.. I'm so afraid she's behind

every baby is different and with her stomach problems being laid on it is probably extremely uncomfortable for her. My son used to hold.his head to one side I start gently turning his head to the other side and showed him he can do that. try that with her once a day and she will start doing.it on her own. also maybe if you get down by here while she is in a swing or bouncer and talk to her and she if she responds to your voice. My son hated tummy time so I started him on a boppy for like a month and then took the boppy away. also I put netflix on my tablet and put.it on one corner of his blanket and him on the other with a cartoon that has bright colors and sings like Barney and he started liking tummy time.

I figured one day she'll get it now that she sits up she will lean over and fall onto her tummy and play for a minute then gets mad again lol they will roll over some day lol I always say my baby gonna walk before she roll

I never really forced her to do tummy time because she used to spit up a lot and when she was on her tummy it would make it worse

um not to much maybe five to ten minutes then she gets mad ... she can sit up so she would rather sit and play then be on her tummy

Honestly I know it's hard to not compare your baby to others but if you can avoid it don't compare. It'll only make you worry for no reason. If you're worried about her not responding to loud noises you may want to have her hearing checked again just to be sure. Good luck mama and I hope Alauras tummy is doing well 😘💕

My daughter had only just now rolled over from tummy to back and it was only one and she's a little over 4 months. yes I think some babies just take their time. and nylah really isn't a fan of tummy time. we honestly don't do it a whole lot

My nephew started rolling over at about 4-5 months. Some babies just take their time with things. And also did you try propping her up with a pillow or blankets so there's not so much pressure on her belly ?

@alicia3_21, I'm probably just paranoid, my mom keeps telling me what she should be doing already and pretty much telling me I'm doing a horrid job being a mom😔

@mommyofaking, we have, she can tolerate it for maybe 5 minutes.. on a good day we might can get 10.. she doesn't seem to respond to loud noises either and she always has her head to one side, even when we try to get her attention.. I'm probably just over thinking it. we work with her everyday😯

I love how I repeatedly told my father in law not to let my daughter root through the toy box because she doesn’t want anything out of it anyway and he keeps picking her up and taking her to the toy box no matter how many times I tell her no and tell him she doesn’t even want anything out of there anyway. At first I told him “only let her get one toy” so she picks one up and he is still holding her over the toy box then tries to put her over the baby gate so she can grab more. I’m sorry but you aren’t the one that has to pick up all these toys. You aren’t the one who has to put them back. He never picks up toys. Everyone wants to get the toys out for her out no one ever wants to help me pick them back up. The fact that I said not to let her get anything out of the box more than 5 times really pisses me off. You may be her grandparent but you aren’t her parent. So now I have mass toys to pic up on top of the toys she already had out from this morning
