Since we've had the baby home, we've had to lock the cat in the bathroom at night... Well, she usually meows all night. But last night, she decided she wanted to shred the entire roll of toilet paper, and rip up the lenolium that was on the bathroom floor.... if it was our house, I wouldn't be as mad.. but, it's not. It's an apartment. She's already shredded the the carpet at the doors from them being shut....it's not like we can just throw her in a crate and call it a day, because she screams so loud it sounds like she's being murdered... she's started to make me hate her...

they have anxiety meds you can get online or a pet store. it will calm her down for sure and stops destructive behavior.

@she.b.lo, she's not jealous, she just doesn't like to be locked up.. never has. Especially when it's away from me. I bottle fed her, so I'm her momma..... so she's extremely attached......
@regelbaby I can't afford it.... we were gonna get her fixed and declawed, front and back feet, but we have to get her shots and the money. :/

Usually they only declaw the front. I know where I live the SPCA will spay and neuter animals for extremely cheap, is there something like that where u live?

Yeah, you've gotta find off place to declaw the back..... And yea, the spca has a pack for 100$ ... it does shots and spay. but declaw is separate. but that's the cheapest they have... and we just haven't had the chance to save money for it.. with rent being so much, and us struggling to pay that... :/ @regelbaby

why are you locking her up? go to the pet store and buy kitty caps! please dont declaw! when you do that younare literally cutting off part of their toes! it can cause so much damage! like arthritis and for quite a few they will stop using the litter box! kitty caps are plastic caps you put over their claws, they are very soft and are actually very affordable!
