ok I finly have some time to post my labor story!
so I went in to the hospital at 6:30 pm to be induced. when i was admitted i was only 1 cm dilated and still pretty thick. so they gave me the pills to soften my cervix. by my third dose I started having strong contractions, like active labor contractions so they stopped the pills since i wasnt dilating. they waited a few hours and tried again. youn are only supposed to have 6 doses of the pill but by the 6 i was only 1.5 cm, but thinner. so they gave me a 7th dose then I had to wait 4 hours to start pitocin. they started me on 2 and increased it by 2 until i was at 20. when i was on 18 my contractions were 2 mins apart but i was not feeling them so they thought i was going to have to brake my water in the morning. but when they upped me to 20 i started feeling them. i thought inhad to pee and i got tonthe bathroom and my water broke. at this time my contractions were a minute apart and super painful! so they reduced the pitocin to 14 but it was to late. so i asked for the ep. the by the time the lady came to give it to me the contractions had no time between them. so they tried to give me fentanol (however you spell it). but I did not feel it. the lady tried to place the ep. 5 times before she called in another guy to do it. I didnt feel her jabbing me though because of how bad the contractions were. by the time they got the ep. placed in I was in and out of conciousness. after rhat i slept for 4 hours and woke up and told my nurse to call the dr. because he was coming. so instarted pushing at 5:45 am and at 6:20 am jasper was born! he was 9 lbs 4 oz and 20 1/4 inches long. I tore in 2 places. I got a second degree perineal tear and then I have a deep tear inside against my vaginal wallm took 8 stitches to close that one. i lost over 500 ccs of blood so after I held my son and fed him I was out cold!
Oh I bet with my boys my water broke in the middle if the night
@mommyof3tobe, yeah me too! delivering him and tearing hurt way less then the contractions from the pills and pitocin. and fetinal did not ease any of the pain.
he was born wed. morning. I didnt get to keave the hospital until thursday afternoon.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.
