Has anybody started dilating without having contractions?

@aidantaya, baby is considered full term at 37 weeks.

how early is too early to go into labor?

I did...I was 8 cm when I started having contractions

I have been having some cramps and at my last check up I was 1cm dilated

with my little one I was 3cm but didn't feel anything until she checked my cervix then the started and with my 5 year old I was in full labor without contractions until they gave me medicine to help me dilate and with my 3 year old I was in labor two hours by the time I was at the hospital I was 6cm so he's the only one I dilated and had contractions I could feel with lol

I had slight cramps but not what you would call "contractions".

I did with my son. I was at 6cm and hadn't had contractions yet
