My baby wasn't latching on for a while so I put him on formula & he was having a hard time pooping & he always got tummy aches. I finally got my supply up again & now he's doing just fine exclusively breastfeeding.. I feel bad for ever putting him on formula

@lexpalma, I hope I dont have a problem with my supply or him not latching...is it possible to only always pump and feef him with bottle or do I have to let him have the boob too? im pretty list when it comes to this :(

I breastfed for 2 months and it was nice and everything. but once I started back at work and I got real stressed my supply went way down. she's now on formula and is doing great! she's not constipated at all. sometimes you have to try different formulas till you get the right one. they will not always get constipated from it. my daughter never has.

oh and don't let ppl make you feel bad if you decide to use formula! it's just as good for baby! otherwise they wouldn't have it! :)

@mdomke22, thank u...im not gonna be working right away but stay would like to know its ok to try for alittle while but formula can still be an option :-)

it Def can! I also used formula and breastmilk towards the end of my two months one again cuz of my supply. but nylah did great with it and is a happy healthy baby :)

oh and you can also exclusively pump and give it to them in the bottle. some people do just that as well

Yeah you can just pump if your want, there's a lot of things you can use to help your milk supply too

I breastfed for 15 months, and I can't wait to do it again with this babe. I was lucky and never had a supply issue. I didn't get clogged ducts or mastitis, and I was able to pump enough for her when I went to work. Breastfeeding isn't for everyone, but I do think everyone should at least try. At the end of the day though you have to feed your baby, whether that's formula or breastmilk.
