Hey mamas. How many ounces does ur babies (that are under one month) eat per time?? My son usually eats 5-15mins per time but I dont know how much he eats. Ive gave him pumped breast milk today from the bottle and he ate about 15min 3,5oz.

Formula feeding mamas Ro is 9.5 months and even though he “eats what we eat” now his Ped wants him to still eat 24-30 ounces per day of formula. But he is SO disinterested in his bottles that I am trying to find new ways to get him to get his formula. Right now he eats 6oz per bottle but usually leaves 3-4 ounces in the bottle per time. Even when i sit with him while he eats he will just get mad and push it away. He eats 3 meals a day with snacks in between and i give him formula or water/juice for a drink with his meals.
How did you get your 9 month old to eat solids he won’t eat anything solid and he shouldn’t be drinking milk all the time but seems like that’s all he wants HELP!!

That's about how much my baby ate, & my son spit up all the time. My doctor said it was normal :)

I was informed by the nurses that when breastfeeding a good way to tell if baby is getting enough is 15 min if baby goes over you can burp in between but 15 min is the max. also hope this helps.

@mrsruvalcaba, I usually burp between 5-10min cuz he has gasproblem and gas drops dont help. Thx.

My son is a month old I was breast feeding. Now I strictly pump and bottle feed. He eats five ounces every two to three hours.

@meganc, My son eats every 1.5-2hours. He is 2,5weeks. After giving him the bottle he wanted more but only when I breastfed him. He was probably nursing 10min. I guess thats about 4-5ounces?

Yeah I would assume, it's deff hard though knowing how much your getting out of your boob. So if you pump too and say you get an ounce or two in 10 minutes worth of pumping I would guess that's how much es getting maybe a .5 ounce off since they take breaks on the boob
