Okay so it really helps to get the full story before jumping to conclusions. It was released yesterday that the duggard boy in question was not in fact charged with the molestation of the girls in question. No one pressed charges against him. Therefore he was sent to counseling, repented of his sins, and the girls DID in fact forgive him for his wrong doing.

As for molesting people and homosexuality... Both are sins. Both are on the same level of severity. Both can be repented and forgiven in Gods eyes. One is not greater than the other and it has never been that way.

@jaspersmama61315, molestation is still wrong. I agree that since he wasn't charged the girls probably forgave him but remembered that more that half of molestation/rape victims never come forward. And in the bible both are sins but how are they on the same level? its probably my morals because I have no problem with homosexuality at all but I would prefer child molesters be in jail. Or on the sex offenders registry. Which he isn't on that either. He may have been forgiven in gods eyes but does that give others the right to touch their young sisters and pray the crime away? Separation of church and state still stands but apparently not in this case

@gillianamy, you miss read my post. I wasn't condoning molesters or molestation in any sort of way. I was simply stating the fact that the duggard boy in question hasn't "gone without punishment" as many are saying. According to the Bible any sin whether it is stealing, murder, molestation, or homosexuality they are all seen as being equal in offense. I'm not saying anyone has to be on the same page as me or what the Bible does in fact state but those are the facts whether anyone wants to agree with them or not. Now that the duggard boy's case has been brought to light there is a high chance that he will be tried for his sins and he should be registered as a sexual offender but that is the laws place to make those decisions along with what the girls effected want to do. Oh and never once did I say it was OKAY for ANYONE to molest or sexually offend anyone regardless of their fame. If those who were effected DID NOT press charges there is no case at the moment. There is no evidence, unless a rape kit was done on each of the alleged victims, and even then it takes at least a month for the case to go to trial if it is brought up by the alleged victims. It's the way the law works. This has nothing to do with separation of church and state. It would be different if this case went to trial and the judge sentenced the duggard boy to pray for forgiveness and ask the girls for forgiveness. That is not the case.
