is it true if you eat spicy foods early pregnancy it can burn your babies eyes. my mom told me to stop eating spicy foods but although I know it causes heartburn.

That's probably the silliest old wise take I've heard. 😂😂 it won't hurt baby to eat anything spicy.
I ate spicy food through out my entire pregnancy I'm positive that's no where near true. if it was doctors would definitely state that in the beginning

No, but may cause braxton hicks... I had such a horrible horrible craving for Indian food.. needless to say i got me craving satisfied except 30 min later i thought i was going into labour!! the pain was awful, the dr told me they were braxton hicks most likely caused by all the spices and condiments in the food... i haven't had it since lol bad experience.. everyone is different tho..
