We were given a hydrocortisone steroid and it'll clear up the inflammation in a few uses but as soon as I stop using it the affected areas become beat red and inflamed again
Yeah the aveeno products are pretty amazing it's the stuff that has helped the most with her eczema but it's still not working as well as I'd like I really need to speak with her pedi about giving us a better script cause the one they gave us only works if I use it every day and she told me not to use it daily so I'm at a loss I've tried so much in the last few months
@hayleymarie I bought the smooth creamy wash from Aveeno fragrance free abs the lotion last night. I really like the Lotion so much easier to put on then the mineral lotion that was postscript to her.
We were told not to use sunscreen on her until she's 6 months and I've listened to that rule up until now but honestly I'm probably going to break it soon because I want to take her swimming and while a sunhat protects her head and face it doesn't protect the rest of her body and personally whats worse...sunburn/exposing baby to harmful Uv rays that cause melanoma or some sunscreen? If aveeno has a sunscreen (idk if they do or not) we will probably use that of not it'll be neutrogena baby sunscreen
We found the aveeno baby oatmeal bath and the eczema lotion at Walgreens...I know Walmart has the lotion as well but idk about the bath...Pais eczema gets worse the hotter that it gets outside we have also found that vasoline helps keep her skin moisturized better than lotions just be careful using it if you plan on going outside that day cause it can cause sunburn
@iloveni0820 did the deft irritate her skin? It all he sudden happened after a hot day. @hayleymarie where do I get this oatmeal bath is it for ba y or just regular?
I use aveeno with oatmeal in it. her doctor recommended nit to use any Johnson and Johnson products so we switched to aveeno. we five her baths every other night. and they prescribed her 2 creams. one is hydrocortisone and the other is a lot stringer for her chest and its Mometasone Furate and we use free and clear laundry detergent so there is no smeel or anything in it to irritate her skin
We quit using all scented lotions and washes. Use aveenos eczema oatmeal bath once a week for 15-30 mins. Use aveeno eczema baby lotion and a prescription hydrocortisone plus my mom just bough this all natural baby soap though idk where she found it
we use the white beauty bar of dove soap at bath time. and baby aquaphor when she flares up. she's gets it on her face the worst but also on her torso and back. the doctor prescribed her a lotion with a steroid in it too!
