Need some advice 😊
I work 12 hours a week at tescos and my partner works Monday to Thursday 9 till half 4 so about 30 hours a week as a ground worker (all different things at a mansion ie- gardening, building, decorating so on..)
We are searching for a place to live now as it's 15 weeks till due date and I was wondering what help would we get?
I'm so lost and pretty worried about trying to find somewhere we can afford 😲
Any advice? Ideally wanting to go down the rent route not council! 🏡

Housing benefit work on income, so depending on income you may be entitled to a rent top up. You can have that paid into your account so the landlord doesn't need to know you are receiving a top up. Also once baby is born you will be entitled to child benefit and again income based you may be entitled to child tax credit and/or working tax credit. My hubby works 30 odd hours and I was working part time (having two kids already) and we were entitled to CB and CTC obvs we own our home so wouldn't be entitled to housing etc. you can go on the GOV website and in search engine type benefit calculator and it should take you to the right place you can fill in these questions free and it gives you a guide of what you could be entitled to. I've done it many time a on loads of different scenarios and they won't contact you you don't have to fill out names etc
