So apparently lil mans jaundice still going up....nurse said to supplement with formula now to start pushing it more out of his system. ..feel so bad for my lil guy..hoping the light formula and some prayers will help!!!! And he will be more perky and active once it's gone.

My son had that too & the nurse at the hospital told me to supplement with formula so I did & he got use to formula, my milk supply went down & he wouldn't even take my boob or milk after his jaundice was gone. I went to his pediatrician at is one week wellness check up & they were pissed that the nurse told me to supplement with formula. she said it was quality over quantity because breast milk has everything your baby needs. I would set him in the son for as long as possible to help it go away.

Ooh ok. that sounds like fl weather lol. I hope the supplementing helps clear it up faster for him

@wyattsmommy91, we did but he is even on a light at home and still going up. plus now its cloudy here and cold 2 days ago was hot!

My son had jaundice you can strip baby to diaper and if u have a window by a couch or u can lay the baby down in front of lay baby in diaper with sun shining on baby for 30 mins a day it helps clear it up too
Well here 'she' is haha! My lil Bub is growing perfectly and I feel so blessed.
They say formula feeding is easy but there is actually a lot to know. Most do not know either. Wish people would go more into formula feeding as well. #formulafeeding

Opinions on formula What formula is closest to breastmilk ? I don’t plan on breastfeeding this time so I’m wanting to find formula that is closest to breastmilk 💙
so i had my wic appointment at the begining of the month...i have been breast feeding/formula feeding. they gave me a little bit of formula but my milk has gone away...so my question is.....would be messed up to call and see if i could get more formula or should i wait 3 months til my next appointment? what would you mommas do?

I was just thinking about you and your little man. I pump and bottle feed my son and its helping push the jaundice out of his system. (just like what the formula will do) his levels are slowly getting better.
ill keep you guys in my prayers. I know it sucks. :(
