I went in to ER last night, was having sharp pain down there, and lower back pain. they checked me, I'm only 2cm dilated so they sent me home. as soon as I got in the car I started having mild contractions every 7/10 min but I still went home.. how long do u ladies think it will take me to dilate more? will I be having baby before or after my DD? DD is May 31

yes totally depends. I was at a 1 for a week with mild contractions and didn't go to the hospital until I thought my water broke. they checked and it did. i was only 1.5 cm at that point but they admitted me because it's not safe for baby after your water breaks.

I was sent home only dilated to a 1 went back 4 hrs later and was only a 2 and got sent home went back 30 minutes later and I was a 7. so I guess it just depends. if the pain gets worse I would go in...the worse they're gonna do is just send u home :)
