Question : So my baby doesn't have insurance yet I'm barely gonna get it, I've taken him to emergency three times would the insurance cover the bill even if I didn't have it when I went in for emergency?????

I live in washington state and my daughter has apple care through the state...took a long time to get because we were waiting on her social and birth certificate...even though I didn't have to take her in they back dated the coverage for us. I would defently check and ask if they can back date it for you. my daughter was only cover under mine for 21 days after she was born...I have group health.

Probably depends from state to state and insurance to insurance. I have Medi Cal and they'll cover 3 months prior to getting insurance I believe. But I'm sure your hospital will have an insurance office you can ask about
I think it depends on the insurance. I've moved jobs and they won't cover stuff that I had prior to the start date. I would just call and check. Hope it works out for you!

Yes, usually insurance will cover up to 6 months before you got insurance. I would ask someone to make sure though on the amount of time.
