Just put what you want it to be

If you believe him, hyphenate the last name.

I think you should just put your last name because you did label him as "Baby Daddy" . So I would say go with your last name.

Put yours. That way if he steps up and somewhere down the road you guys get married you can change it to his, but if he messes up and doesn't stick around you won't have to worry about changing your child's name back to yours.

I picked my daughters first and middle name, so I gave her his last. That way we each had a part in it.

GIVE YOUR BABY YOUR LAST NAME. 😊 if there's any doubt he'll stick around or there's major issues just give the little one your last name. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have been able to give my son the sperm donor's last name anyway, but I love that my son has my last name. He'll keep the name going (the name would have ended with me but we have another chance to let the name live on!).

Well I would do both and hyphenate them... because some guys feel like if you can't even five the child my last name at all why should I help... and let your child choose for themselves when they get older... my best friends mother gave her dad's last name and he was a dead beat so on her 19 birthday she changed it to her mothers...

Put what you want you get the say. In my state if you aren't married the father can't even be on the bc without filling out an additional form.

my twins are getting my last name. he won't be there, don't want him there anyways. but in Tennessee he has to be there for them to have his last name if we're not married. so either way they won't have his.

it doesn't matter if he says it has to be his last name. if you guys were married that would be one thing. but you aren't so it's your choice. not his.

Well thanks to him the last name will be mine. we got into a fight over me being the only one working, etc. but said everything he has been doing is Cuz I force him. here I thought he was changing to be better
