Question?.. does pregnancy test out relationships? because it really seems like everyone who was in a relationship prior to being pregnant is now broken up/literally hates the father of the baby. i myself have been going through the motions with my bf/bd we've been living together for 3 years =no problems, now that im pregnant these WHOLE 7 months has been hell fighting arguing breaking up etc. what do i do? i don't want to loose him. (not even including l, my hormones being the icing on top of the cake.)

A lot of the people who are broken up didn't wait very long but I do think pregnancy tests a relationship. My husband and I were together 9 years before I got pregnant and it's just different. I fart and burp in front of him, we argue over what purchases are necessary for baby. (Apparently, a whale shaped faucet cover is not necessary? who knew? lol). At the end of the day though it's about your communication skills. *shrugs*

it definitely does test your relationship. especially with the hormones. before I became pregnant my boyfriend and I were like best friends. we hardly ever argued. once we found out we were expecting we started arguing more and its still like that now that our daughter is here. We still are together though and its challenging but we're managing. I know that eventually things will get better. its just a matter of time. communication is key.

Definitely tests relationships, doesn't matter how long you've been together. You just have to stay calm and realize you two may have two different ways of thinking and taking care of the child and most of the time that's what fights are about. My boyfriend and I get in stupid fights about how to spend our money, or I get mad at him because I always get up with him through the night and he never does, etc. Like she said ^ communication skills are a must.

Oh yeah and the hormones are crazy! I think that is testing many other relationships too. I can't stand a lot of people I used to just tolerate.

omg yes!!! these past 8 months have been a journey for me and him!!! a lot of arguments about the baby but I think it's because we as women want to do more and want to be more prepared for our child and men are just men some men don't really kick into gear until the baby is here..... but my bf does try so I try not to bitch at him so much but I still do haha 😂😡😍

it's something about your hormones and his sympathy attitude that just don't mix frfr

I don't really see much of a difference in before or after. I'm 8 months pregnant, and we have been pretty much the same for four years. I seem more irritable with family, but not so much him.

Pregnancy is hard on everyone. Unfortunately having my son lead my ex husband and I to divorce. But it lead me to my fiancé, and it's really amazing the difference it makes having someone who cares and wants to be apart of it and is at least trying to understand what I'm going through vs. when I didn't have someone like that. We actually have been fighting less on the whole because my hero understands that this isn't how I usually am. I have to say though we have my three year old 5-6 days every week and that's probably what's putting our relationship through the test more than anything. Twos were a dream compared to the terrible threes.

pregnancy definitely hit a nerve , well closer to the end of it . I had to end it because of the way he was acting , I love him because he's the father of my daughter but I also hate him because he picked things over me and have said some hurtful things to me so now I just want him out of my life but that won't happen . my baby girl was a suprise baby didn't expect to get pregnant so soon in the relationship but we were both excited but he became an ass I knew I wasn't easy to handle but he didn't understand what was happening to me and I just needed him

I think its everything that comes along with the pregnancy that causes the issues. .. some people just can't handle the stress or responsibilities that come in to play during the pregnancy and once the baby arrives. if your boyfriend or husband is strong minded enough to deal with it & loves you unconditionally they won't leave. no matter what problems may come & no matter what arguements you have . they will be there for you & the child. @kenecia

I can't relate to a lot of women when it comes to this problem. I can only give my advice. I've been with my Man for 10 years & we have 4 children together. We rarely argue about anything. .. I give advice when I see it's needed or when someone askance me my opinion on things. @kenecia

I don't hate my fiancé. We fight more now than before because I have a shorter fuse than I used to sometimes I just get too irritated and say things I don't mean.

it's the stress of building a solod relationship. I have been with my now husband for 10 years and we are having another baby soon. It's just that we get irritated and hormonal and at most times we cannot control it. I pray things get better for you.

So this has nothing to do with my pregnancy but it's a thought I've been having lately: when I first met my husband I told him I was bisexual but willing to date him as long as my past was never bought up in our relationship.... been married for 4 years now and lately I've been missing a female touch... I don't love him any less in fact I love him more each day but sometimes I miss that intimacy

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
