What ways can I help induce labor? My baby is measuring at 5 pounds 12 ounces, her lungs heart brain and mouth are working perfectly (she even sucks her toes and there's fluid in her stomach to show she can swallow) , the doctor wants to induce me in two weeks so I want to make it easier on my body and him. My mouth burns from pineapple so I'm definitely not wanting to keep eating it.

She's trying to come out my cervix isn't softening enough to dilate @rachelmariecroxton and I don't have access to stairs but I do live on a upwards hill so I'll start walking around the block a couple of times a day (: @zamirsmom @yesenia5
stairs did it for me I did it 2 days in a row 20 times lol I was exhausted but went into labor next day one day after my due date
if you have stairs at home walk up and down 3× a day for the next two weeks
My doctor said that there is absolutely nothing that will actually work, other then time. If baby's not ready, baby's not coming out.
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her ...

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. Baby is ready, but my body isn't. You may want to talk to your doctor about inducing you... Semen is supposed to soften the cervix... It has a certain chemical in it that reacts with your body and softens it... That's the only thing I know of. But it's not a guarantee according to my doctor.
