I was induced 2 weeks before my due date I had gestational diabetes I went in on Friday at 6 am had pitocin put in at 10 am the. had my water broke. around 3pm soon after contractions got really bad I didn't want an epidural but they kept suggesting it since baby wasn't coming out even though I was fully dilated and pushing they said I was probably gonna have to get an emergency c section if my dr came in in the next 30 mins and there wasn't any improvement well I thought I was gonna die of exhaustion since I was pushing for 2 hrs straight and all of a sudden bam baby was finally coming out I was in labor for 16hrs and I felt everything on the right side of my body the epidural only worked on half of my body

I was in labor for 38 hrs the hospital finally admitted me when my water broke....I almost had a c-section because I wasn't dilating fast enough but finally at almost 6 am it was time to push....my sons heart rate kept dropping so I had to wear a oxygen mask and while I was pushing they realized that his umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck....everything else went fine I got one stitch for a very small tear

I gave birth on my due date I felt contractions very mild though from 12 after noon the day before I had no idea I was in labor till about 7 that day I pretty much went on with my day just thinking I had too poop. Lol so at about 10 pm i realized i did not have too poop and she was coming I had a plan with my ob to stay at home as longest possible so o wouldn't get tempted to have the epidurial so at about 12am hubby was freaking out and said Its time to go. When getting to the hospital i was so scared I made him drive around the parking lot lol. So I went in and was 7cm gave birth at 8:41 am and too me it was a easy labor it was painful, but staying calm made everything go smooth oh and epidurial is your bff ! lol

Sorry it's long: Labor story: Went in to the hospital Sunday night (2/15) at 9pm to have the foley balloon inserted barely slept all night then started Pitocin at 7:30 am on Monday (2/16) started having contractions throughout the day. At 10:20 am the balloon finally fell out and I was dilated 4 cm. Contractions got stronger and stronger as they upped the Pitocin and we were having trouble tracking baby girl on the belly monitor. Around 4:30 contractions got too strong to handle so I opted for the epidural and shortly after they decided to take away the belly monitors and put an internal monitor on baby girls head... Contractions were coming strong and close yet I felt nothing however baby girls heart rate kept dipping because she had no time to recover between contractions...they lowered the Pitocin and tried to get her heart rate under control but she still wasn't tolerating natural labor so around 8:30pm they decided it would be best to take her by c section...I was soo nervous and scared but it was completely painless and baby girl was delivered healthy and safely at 9:43 pm at 7lbs 9oz 21 1/2 cm 😍💕😘 Paisley Ann 😍💕

mines is so short, it happened so fast. lol. 5/7 I went to my appointment. my doctor told me I was still 2 1/2cm dialated and said more likely I'd have to be induced. Went about my normal day after my appointment. So I go to sleep and at 430am my son woke me up to sleep in bed with me. as soon as I pulled him in my bed I felt something come out, so I go to the bathroom to check if I had to pee. well almost instantly I started getting contractions. I told my husband I'd wait an hour before going to the hospital just to make sure it wasn't BH. after 10minutes I got ready for the hospital because my contractions were so strong and almost a minute apart. I get to the hospital around 520am. I was already dialated to 7cm and my water was leaking. The contractions were so bad so I finally asked for the epidural. so when the nurse walked out of the room to get the doctor to see how far I was dialated to see if I could still get the epidural, my water broke and he was coming. the pain was so unbearable, I was screaming. three pushes later my son was out at 6:51am on 5/8/15. thankfully I didn't need stitches and no complications after so I left the next morning.

it was all worth it lol now with this baby idk how it's gonna go I never made a birth plan with my first or this one I just take things as they come since things never go as planned lol

@kelseys so you didn't even get the epidural?. and yea that sounds short

no, I couldnt. when I asked the nurse if I could she told me if I'm dilated to 8/9cm then I can't have it and as soon as she walked out to get the doctor to check me, my water broke and I was already pushing. so far I've had fast and easy deliveries with both of my sons, so hopefully I have more easy and fast ones in the future.

Went in at 39 weeks to be induced. I got cervix thinner at 8 pm. I was 1cm. At 4 am I woke up an no progress. 7 am the doc checked me, no progress. He thing broke my water. My contractions were 15 minutes long, an about a 2 minute break. It was terrible. I got a epidural at 10 am and 2 cm. lol pit started at 11. An I didn't have him til 5:30

@kelseys, I had my epidurial at 8cm! That's odd how they told you no Maybe because your water broke.

I wish I had a good story. All I can tell you is that I was having real bad pain(contractions) went to the hospital and was 3cm dialated. Had to have an emergency c-section at 32 weeks because my son was in distress. 😔 My son is now a happy healthy 1 year old! 😆

@nessa_25, no sure, they just told my by 8/9cm is too late to have one. I was told that with my first son.
