How do u keep your sanity caring for a newborn??? 😁😩😩 please tell me I'm not the only one...all I do is what my baby does....eat & sleep...well & I watch tv.
And when my baby cluster feeds all day I have no time for shower. My hubs is getting cabin fever and wants to go out and stuff I'm like ahhhh I can't I don't want my baby to cry I feed him right away. I don't think I've got hang of things just yet.
@hayleymarie, ohh that's good & it's really kinda have no other choice. Same for me I was Sooo tired & my whole body ached just up until yesterday. I've stopped pain killers probably that's why. It's been 16days PP now. I do have to say that I think the hardest part is over the first 2 weeks 😫 now already getting better hang of things 😉👌🏼
@eskawho, so it's not just me! 😏 I didn't even picture or imagine how it would be. I couldn't have lol. But it is what it is...it's like a shock at first and then realization that this is permanent and starting to get used to it. That's really awesome your hubs helps out. And any help sure does help you. It's good👌🏼
My son cluster fed but i just made sure I had that ten minutes every day. Try going for a short walk when you feel ready. Or have a visitor over (someone who can help out with stuff around the house or hold baby if you feel you want to do stuff around the house or cook) take small steps.
First off Hun... Take a shower. As soon as you have fed baby hand them to dad and hop in the shower... Take that 10-15 mins to just breathe.
For my first month of being at home I slept when she slept, ate barely and usually right after she did, and didn't have any cable or internet so all I did was take care of baby and sleep now she's almost 3 months, we have cable, I clean when she naps (since I've recovered from my c section I'm not tired all the time) I'm about to start classes needless to say it's gotten easier ☺️ and it will for you with time
It's hard but for me I waited a month before I took my baby out so it was hard and all I did was take care of baby but when my husband comes home from work he will take her so I get a few minutes to myself to do what I need to do and sometimes that's just a shower...on his days off he will take the night feedings and let me sleep so that helps so much so I don't go crazy.
@kaity0117, omg you're soooo right....it can go long way...I haven't done that right from start but soon I figured I gotta have some time to myself. As I get hang of things more the better Im able to manage everything 😊 and its slowly becoming easier.
