@cwev, I felt the same, I'm a control freak but I felt in control the whole time until it came to pushing, I just slowed my breathing and used gas and air when needed. just think about the end result. I would do it again tomorrow I loved my birth. and once your baby is in your arms you completely forget about the pain you've just been through x

@cwev it might be cos you were in control of most those things. I'm scared about the lack of control im gonna have and that i dont know exactly how/when its going to happen lol the pain is very intense, ive got a 9 year old but feel like a new mum. im scared about how long its gonna last too lol

@bubble, The pain!!! Which is silly coz iv voluntarily gone though 16hrs of tattooing, 6 tough mudders (one 3 days after I broke my toe!), marathons, 3 peak challenge, a 100km hike in 24 hrs and I suffered with gall stones for 2 years which is the most agonising constant pain I've ever felt so I wouldn't say I'm a wimp!! I just can't stop my self freaking out over how much pain I'm going to be in!! :( what r u worrying about? X

Birth Plan Rant I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
