some states don't cover circumcision because it's becoming more of an "unnecessary" cosmetic procedure. that's just with Medicaid though, I'm not sure what states but you can look it up. if you're one of those states then call around with your private insurance and compare prices.(-:
I know when I had my son almost 9 years ago it wasn't covered by Medicaid in NC. We paid $300 out of pocket then.
@chachancortez, what I learned after changing doctors three times they don't know a lot Medicad so call them and see what your plan covers.
@chachancortez, you might want to call your insurance company. I know I have Medicad and if it was a boy it was covered.
Yeah that's what I plan on doing tomorrow. And also I was thinking about calling my insurance to see what doctors they work with that does it @sexii_diiva
call around. my hospital was 200 if I get it done the day he born but if not then its 300
And I'm getting frustrated because she charges me for everything $ #25 for anything she has to write and fax and it ridiculous
According to my doctor it's not covered under medicad or my private insurance.
It's a cosmetic surgery so most insurance companies won't cover it. Have you seen this yet? ссылка
