I'm worried about putting my daughter on formula. iv been breastfeeding and pupping I barley get an oz when I pump and feeding is so painful I had a nurse watch me feed to make sure it wasn't me and she said everything looks right after I feed her for 30 mins she is still hungry

That's what newborns do when they are breastfed. They are literally attached to you. It's called cluster feeding. It's the hardest part of breastfeeding because you literally sit there with a baby attached to your chest. And don't be upset that you only get an ounce of milk, that happens for most of us. It has nothing to do with the amount of milk your baby is getting. If you want to produce more milk while pumping you have to pump more. It tells your brain to tell your breasts that there is a demand for milk and they need to meet that demand.
