Ugh, this is so embarrassing. But I need some insight. A few years ago I got my first fever blister/cold sore. Since then, I've had 1 or 2 and that's it. And every time it was always the exact same spot. A week ago, I got the first one in a different spot literally out of nowhere (right before missed period) and then today (a week later) the first one is healed and I have a SECOND one that literally JUST appeared in a different spot. My question is, can hormones cause cold sores/ fever blisters to be frequent?! It's been well over a year since my last one! 😩😭😩😭
One can only hope :p @courtney_boyea I've read a lot about women getting them back to back during pregnancy when hormones are nuts. But didn't know if it was coincidental. I've NEVER had 2 this close together every before. Like I said, I had one a week ago, and right as it healed today(my top lip), my bottom lip started to swell and turn purplish and tingle (which is how mine always start) if it's pregnancy related, I'll gladly take one. But if it's because Mother Nature is playing games, I might lose my mind lol
I'm glad you took no offense :) hope they go away quick! Btw, I get them too when I'm sick and have high fevers.
yea when my hormones were all messed up because of my pregnancy I had one like one right after another lol soooo maybe it's a good sign and you might be pregnant...
Thank you @courtney_boyea atleast I'm not alone! I haven't had one in so long and now I have my second one in the past week! And my period is late, but tests are negative. So idk if I ovulated really late or what. It's been one hell of a month though!
Thank you. You're just stating facts, which I appreciate. And I'm aware of the second part. My fiancé and I have been together for a very long time and he has never had one. I don't even kiss him when I have one. I'm very careful. But not everyone does know that! So maybe for people who don't that will be helpful! :) but I'm not sick (I don't think) and I'm actually not stressed for the first time in 6 months (not exaggerating) and my fiancé is the only person I'm ever around. We just moved here and I don't know anyone and I don't work... Hmmpf maybe Mother Nature is just being an extra bitch this month :p @peanut0915
stress plays a huge factor in it. I actually have to take meds everyday for It because when I was pregnant I was getting them all the time because of my stress levels and hormones. I have read that if you put raw honey on it that it will help heal it
They're usually caused by fever, stress or being in physical contact with someone who has it at the time of contact. Abreva works great for those. Don't take this personal nor do I mean anything bad by it, it's just FYI - cold sores/fever blisters are considered herpes type 1. If you go down on someone while you have it, they will get herpes type 2 aka genital herpes.
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
Religion Conspiracy/Theory
**This is not to bash peoples religion and beliefs but to talk about our own theories and ideas** I would like to discuss a certain topic that came to mind after talking to my SO. I know some of you ladies like a good conspiracy talk so i would like to have a good discussion and hear thoughts of others. So back story my SO friends got very offended when he mentioned not believing in god or religion and it got me thinking. Is religion a failing form of goverment cont...

My husband and I aren’t exactly strangers when it comes to relationship challenges 💞. We have been together for 14 years and married for eight, so we’ve definitely gone through some growing pains as we navigated a long-distance relationship in college and our first year living together as a married 👫 couple.
But nothing has challenged our relationship quite like our first year as 👪 parents .

And of course @peanut0915 some people truly don't know that they can cause genital herpes. People also don't know that even if you touch your own, you can give yourself genital herpes. They can be dangerous! Now anyone who reads this will have a little extra information they may not have. It baffles me that there are people in the world that would take offense to that.
