My bf let's his 13 year old do any and everything that she wants. Never makes her clean her room, let's her have as many friends over as she wants, gets her hair and nails done on a bi weekly basis, let's her go out on dates. Little princess can do no wrong. He's turning her into a monster, does everything for her but wipe her ass. I'm very old fashioned when it comes to parenting, so I know there's gonna be huge arguments as our daughter gets older.

my stepdad was like that with my youngest step sister. and well...she almost didnt graduate. refused to get a job and still hasnt moved out. she is now 21
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
How do you discipline an 11 month old? Shes been so bad lately and if you tell her no she doesn't listen.

Do you guys think spanking a 2 year old is okay? Because I use to spank my 2 year old, but I started to notice that she started to be scared of me and that just hurt my heart, so I no longer do that and she loves me so much more, but her dad scares her because with him she gets spankings for every little thing she does and she cries like crazy when she goes with him, so what should I do if her dad doesn’t want to stop spanking her?
I’ve posted about my defiant toddler many times before but I’m really at a loss now. She deliberately disobeys. Like, she knows what “no” means and if she’s doing something she knows she’s not supposed to I can ask “do you want to go in timeout?” And she’ll answer “no” and SOMETIMES stop.. That's what I keep warning him of.hes let her get so lazy, the girl can't even take the ice pack out of her lunch bag. She walks in and either hands it to me, or puts it on the counter. And God forbid I ask her to do the dishes, she just looks at me and walks off.
