I need help 😞 I'm breast feeding & I pump with a manual pump every other day or so just to see if I'm producing enough milk & all I get is a little over 2 ounces D; . My baby is a week & 5 days old at first it was enough but I can tell she needs more & more & my body isn't cooperating what should I do ?

The more you pump the more you produce. Every few hours to begin with until you produce a good supply. Like the other ladies suggested mothers milk tea or fenugreek supplements will give you a boost.

@mrs.oliva, I usually pump 2oz each pumping session but the tea helps me pump 4-5 when I drink it. A ton of milk comes in, my breasts get hard so I apply a warm towel and then pump it out

I didn't recieve it yet. I'm using my sisinlaws evenflo pump for now and only getting 2-4 ounces each session. I hate this pump! It's painful too maybe because the flange is a little bigger than my nipple :( @mrs.oliva

Pump after each feeding for about 15 min each breast. That will help increase your milk supply. Also, try fenugreek!

Well my son will be two weeks on Thursday. I was the same way now I'm just getting 2oz or 4 with both breast on a good day. So I decided to supplement until I get more milk. Keep pumping it's going to come. Some preggie friends said around week three to five you will get more of an adequate supply

When are you pumping. In exchange of a feeding. After a feeding.
