My son turned 3 months on the 29th is it normal he has yet to sit up on his own an still has a hard time holding his head up longer then 30 seconds?

it's normal. babies usually don't start sitting till around 6 months

Mine didn't sit up on his own like this till he was crawling. He could hold his head up and sit supported but not alone. It's totally normal. Yours should be sitting up supported by around 6 months.

Making sure seems my friends kids at 3 months started holding there heads up and sitting. Rather he not start cause means he's growing up but I also don't want him to have development issues @californiahaley

Totally normal. He won't be sitting up by himself for awhile
