I keep going back and forth about being excited about this pregnancy. My son is 11 and I always said I wasn't going to have anymore kids, but I started to get baby fever as he's getting older and I didn't get to enjoy him as a baby because his father was abusive. I also have anxiety and depression so that could be a factor. I don't know, the past few days I just haven't been feeling the pregnancy and just want it to be over. I feel terrible for feeling this way.

Trust he will be happy my daughter wanted a sibling for years but as she got older I think her like me gave up hope and got used to being the only but once I started showing she became so protective telling me to eat, rest be careful with "her" baby lol @mcharee and she is so amazed and still in disbelief that she finally has her very own sister even tho she really wanted a brother lol

@ginag918, I'm 13 weeks and happy to almost be done with the first trimester, just not ecstatic like I think I should be. Thanks for sharing your experience, makes me not feel as guilty. My son isn't too happy about the situation right now, but I'm hoping the fact that it's a boy will help. I still haven't officially told him, lol!
I have a 12 year old I went back and forth I didn't get excited until I was like 8 months it's normal esp with the age gap but he will be a great big brother my daughter is an only child on both sides so she tried to milk it to make me feel bad a few times that's it lol
